Buying green coffee can be intimidating. Crop seasons, lead times, the market, and
of course quality all must be considered. With so many factors to juggle it is no
wonder that some roasters become overwhelmed and look to a coffee’s name,
its price, or the reputation and hype surrounding it to help them make a decision.
It doesn’t have to be that way. The number one reason to buy any coffee is
that it stands up on the cupping table. We receive offers all the time touting a
great story, an incredible terroir, or some amazing new varietal no one has ever
heard of, but if it comes down to a choice between the sizzle or the steak, we’ll
take the prime rib every time, and so should you. Cupping is not rocket science.
All it takes is consistency, practice, and passion and you can develop a world-class
palette. Or at least one good enough to craft the perfect house blend. |

We cup twice a day, everyday, and our doors are always open. Feel free to drop by
around 10:30 or 2:30 any weekday to see how we do it firsthand. We also are more
than happy to set up specific cupping sessions with current or prospective customers,
just give us a heads up. |
