Bird Friendly-TM. THe Smithsonian Institution has certified this coffee as Bird Friendly-TM Shade Grown coffee. Roasters must register with the Smithsonian Institution and pay a royalty in order to sell the coffee as Bird Friendly-TM or to use the Smithsonian Institution name.
